Paul Kelley-Cascade Fabrics
Paul met his wife, Bobi, on a blind date just after he left the service. Evidently her best friend and his best friend thought they would make a good couple. He has been a Chamber member since 1997 and is an active member and past president of Rotary. Cascade Fabrics is your one stop quilting shop but don’t let that stop you non-quilters. They also carry supplies for most home sewing needs including; denim, fleece, lace, yarn, crib panels, patterns, batting, lots of notions, and more. They even has a few surprising items like children’s books, puzzles, and even some craft supplies. To add to your shopping experience, there is a children’s play corner and pleasant music. One of the specialty items that they carry is “Aunt Martha’s” embroidery transfers, a very popular yet hard to find item. Lynn Hohmann helps out at the store and says she likes the relaxed atmosphere. After 43 years in the nursing field she was ready for a change. Stop in and say hi to Paul and Lynn anytime Monday through Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30. They are located at 824 Metcalf St. and are eager to help you with your next sewing project. |
