It seems like it was just yesterday that I walked through the front door here at 714-B Metcalf Street for the very first time.  Many great things have happened in these past ten months. The number one has been the 15% growth in membership that has taken place in 2007! Thanks to all of you for making this happen.  Hand in hand with this has been an increase in our monthly membership meeting attendance since moving to the S-W Community Center. This is the perfect place for us to gather and network. Thank you to Mayor Anderson and the amazing City staff for making this possible.  The re-branding of the Chamber of Commerce has been warmly received by the community.  The new logo and web site designed by Steam Interactive will take us to exciting new levels.  We fought a worthy fight with the IRS and WON!  Thank you to John Lee for all of his hard work making this happen. The chamber is led by an amazing group of volunteer directors that work very hard for you.  New president Troy Kunz will bring a no-nonsense approach to leadership that has roots in his long distinguished military career.  Thank you to past board president Pola Kelley who represented you these past three years leading the chamber through many challenges.  Stop in the office and pick up a copy of our newsletter, The Exchange and read about her as she is the featured member for January 2008  I look forward to an excited and rewarding 2008.
