Northwest Tinman Auto Paint & Body has just had its four year anniversary in Sedro-Woolley. Since purchasing the shop in December of 2003, the owner, Tim McCray, has continually worked to improve the shop’s capabilities and equipment. What once was originally a one man - owner operated business now employs 6 full time employees in addition to the owner.

Two of those positions were created in the past year. By investing in new automotive frame measuring and repair equipment Tim has made the shop fully capable of handling any type of collision repairs. As a result the shop is now quite capable of handling work for any Insurance company and is a preferred repair shop for at least one major Insurance Carrier.

Tim is quick to remind customers that it is their choice where they have their vehicle repaired. They don’t have to take it to a shop the Insurance Company lists.

Tim is also very active in the community. He has served on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce for the past 3 years and has volunteered at events like the Blast From The Past held the first weekend in June. Recently he has become the Chairman of the Downtown Revitalization Committee here in Sedro-Woolley.
