Oliver Hammer Clothes Shoppe has been a staple in this community for 88 years. Giving superb customer service and excellent product has been their commitment. Managed by Dyrk Meyers, the employees all share the friendliness and down-home service one would expect from a small town store.

Dyrk was a high school student and started out sweeping the floor, working in the backroom, and buying merchandise, while always keeping his eye out for customers. He was taught to value the customer, and give the best customer service possible by Robert “Pinky” Robinson, and worked his way up to the manager he is now.

Sally Drummond summed it up best: “Pinky was good with people, knew how to buy well and always gave the community what they wanted. He cared about this community and it was reflected in how he bought for the store. He would only sell really good quality clothing for hard working people, and at a price they could afford.”

The partnership continues today with Dave, Dyrk and staff handling the clothing needs of a new generation while following the tried and true philosophy of Greer and Pinky.

As one customer states, “Oliver-Hammer consistently provides outstanding customer service. For example just this past weekend I wanted a particular item in their store, but they were out of my size.
