Sedro-Woolley Healthcare

Sedro-Woolley has a full-care critical accesshospital and a wide range of community health services.

PeaceHealth United General Medical Center, just west of town, houses a 24-hour emergency department and a 25-bed inpatient unit. It offers a wide range of specialized health care and continues to upgrade and expand existing and new facilities.

The hospital has an expanded cancer care center, a 30-bed transitional care unit for therapy and rehabilitation, a 12-bed patient unit for mentally ill senior citizens, and a clinic to treat sleep disorders.

In 1991, United General Hospital and Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon formed Affiliated Health Services to strengthen health care in Skagit County.
