Sedro-Woolley Events always family friendly
Sedro-Woolley Events are always family friendly and happen throughout the year. Starting with an Easter Egg Hunt at Riverfront Park the Saturday before Easter.
To the Tulip Festival sanctioned Woodfest Event in April, generally the first weekend unless Easter falls on that weekend;
The kid’s fishing derby’s by the Wildcat Steelhead Club in early May at the North Cascade Gateway Center;
Blast from the Past the first weekend in June includes arts and crafts vendors, quilt show, motorcycle show and car shows, old fashioned fun jump rope, hula hoop, and pie eating contests; there will be a street dance on Saturday night with a beer garden near Vic’s 66.
Loggerodeo the oldest continuing 4th of July event in Washington State which features parades, chainsaw carving competitions, log show, carnival, and a world classs rodeo;
Sedro-Woolley is home to a local winery, Eagle Haven Winery, producing award winning wines and featuring outdoor musical events in their pavilion throughout the summer. It is also used as a great venue for weddings and other celebrations.
The Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club has hosted 4 outdoor concerts at Riverfront Park in August for the last few years and the events are growing. Sunday Evenings in August.
The 2nd full weekend in September hosts the Founder’s Day Museum event, and the JJ Cruiser Car Show benefiting the museum;
in October we have a kiddies halloween parade and merchant trick or treating,
and we end our calendar with the best tree lighting and totally awesome lighted Sedro-Whoolleyville Christmas Parade Celebration, there are many family friendly events.
Our city strives to be the most livable small city around the area with great schools, good police and fire protection and an acclaimed community hospital.
There are rooms available at local motels for those wishing to spend a night or two. We are right on the Cascade Loop (http://cascadeloop.com/video-gallery/) you can begin or end your adventure right here in Sedro-Woolley while enjoying some local flavor and color.
